"Moderate Islam Is No Islam!" and an unreachable idea of God is no God!

Klevius comment: Sadly, however, Amil Imami, like so many others, in vain keeps reaching for the unreachable*! Why? The answer, I would suggest, is the very same "virus" that makes Islamofascism possible in a world that pretends to adhere to the idea of human rights while still upholding sex segregation. This stupid/confused idea means that females can/should be stripped off their freedom and confined to a mysterious "femininity" or "gender" (see From Klevius without love) or simply be (ab)used for rapetivism (e.g. as reproducers of Islam). Furthermore, this is accompanied by the tautological idea that one may justify one's way of life via a religion based on a "god" one can't know anything about!

* due to a comment from an observant reader the following distinction may be needed: Whereas Islam's "god" is by (political) purpose made unreachable Amil Imani's god is only "unfathomable", i.e. what in Klevius definition of religion is termed "uncertainty" based on the fact that our ethnocentrism forever dooms us not to be allmighty seers, i.e. we are "god's" opposite. However, this logic also terminates Amil Imani's "religious god". Although this may sound "presumptious" it is, in fact, based on the very opposite, namely harsh self-criticism. In Demand for Resources (1992, see e.g. page 38) I propose that self-criticism (the ultimate scientific methodology) and humbleness are synonymous and do not need/cannot be anchored outside the realm of being human. In conclusion one may argue that although Amil Imani's religion is a much lesser threat than Islam, its main danger lies precisely in its "god"-bridging of evil and totalitarian racist/sexist Islam via "religion". Just in the same way as the prevailing remnants of our "Western" sex segregation invite evil and sexist Islamic Sharia sex segregation, sometimes ironically even motivated by the "protection" of women who are already protected by universal human rights (rapes in the Muslim umma are extremely common from Darfur to suburbs in the West).

Analogous to the story of the “slowly boiled frog”— which is unable to detect the gradual increase in water temperature—the West, in a very short period of time, has been lulled, beguiled and manipulated into a position of passive acceptance. Reports of terrorist acts no longer surprise us and the hypocrisy of “lowered expectations” toward Islam and Muslims c au ses us to accept absurdity and irrationality from them. We’re like rabbits mesmerized in their headlights and all we can offer up is the plaintive whine “why do they hate us”They hate us bec au se we are their antithesis. Amil Imani: Many non-Muslims are obviously very well-meaning with regard to Islam, but they are also extremely naïve and ignorant of the facts. They seem to think that Islam is just another religion of love and peace and Muslims should be given full freedom to practice their religion. Do they also believe that thieves, misogynists, rapists, child-molesters and any and all manner of practicing evils should be given complete carte blanche to carry on with what they value and believe? These well-meaning poeple are just as deluded as the fanatic jihadists by refusing to acknowledge the fact that one cannot be a Muslim and not abide by the dictates of the Quran. There is no such thing as moderate Islam. There is no such thing as secular Islam or a secular Muslim. It's the nature of the faith to deny any separation of religion and the state or religion and society. There are numerous sects within Islam. One and all are extremes and not in the least amenable to change. Keep in mind that Islam claims that it is the perfect eternal faith for mankind. Splits have occurred and will continue to occur in Islam. Yet, reformation has not happened in nearly 1400 years and is not going to happen. Islam is carved in granite, just the way it is. No change. Allah's book is sealed.
There are indeed some Muslims who are moderate in the way they practice their religion. These people, for the most part, are culturally Muslims. They don't practice Islam the way it is mandated. They pick and choose. Therefore, "moderate Islam," is no Islam at all. It is not possible.
