The FBI put out an alert on Monday for an apparent homegrown jihadi who had enlisted in the Army in Kansas with possible plans to commit a massacre on a military base.
A spokeswoman for the FBI said later in the day that agents had interviewed the man in question and decided that he didn’t, in fact, represent a threat. “There is no manhunt. There’s never been a manhunt,” said Bridget Patton, of the Kansas City-based FBI field office. “The individual was interviewed, and it is believed there is no imminent threat to the public.”

The release, sent out by the FBI to local law enforcement and military personnel and first reported by FoxNews.com, warned of a potential attack by someone named Booker who also went by “Muhammad.”
“On 20 March 2014, the Kansas City Division FBI became aware of an individual named BOOKER aka Muhammad Abdullah Hassan who had publicly stated his intention to commit jihad, bidding farewell to his friends and making comments indicating his jihad was imminent,” the FBI announced.
The man referred to in the release is John T. Booker, 19, who grew up in Tennessee and Kansas before moving to Missouri after graduating from high school. People who knew him say he began to be deeply interested in Islam in high school and has shown some signs of radicalization in the last couple of years. Friends say his other passion was the military, and he had long hoped to be a soldier.
Those two goals appear to have been on a collision course in recent weeks. It was a string of Facebook posts by Booker and others in his social network that were highly suggestive of jihad that alarmed the FBI. “Getting ready to be killed in jihad is HUGE adrenaline rush!! I am so nervous. NOT because I’m scared to die but I am EAGER to meet my lord,” Booker wrote on his own Facebook page in the middle of last month, according to a screen grab of the post, which was subsequently taken down. The FBI has been publicly outed for using social networks to identify suspects and has long mapped traditional social networks for leads.
By analyzing his circle of online connections through shared work, education and religious or other activities, we found a Facebook group called Story of the Prophets, founded by one of Booker’s Facebook friends. It has almost 800 members and mentions the late and incendiary imam Anwar Al Awlaki, who inspired dozens of jihadis around the world, including Nadal Malik Hassan, who killed 13 people and injured dozens more in 2009 at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, in an apparent terrorist attack against his fellow soldiers. It was exactly that sort of attack that the FBI was concerned about when it put out the alert about Booker yesterday.
In one March 15 post to Story of the Prophets, the Facebook friend, Mohamed ibn Abdullahi, asks for willing wives to come forward to marry the would-be martyr, presumably referring to Booker.

Imam Omar Hazim, 71, who has presided over the Islamic Center of Topeka since 1987, says he knew Booker as “Muhammad” and remembers him stopping by to pray. “I talked with him personally and prayed with him,” he says. “He was a visitor a couple times over the past couple of years and each visit was an hour or so.”
Imam Hazim says the FBI showed up Monday to ask him about Booker. He says agents told him Booker was being evaluated “at a mental health hospital” and that he is struggling with a bipolar condition. “My recommendation to them was to get this guy some assistance and put him away somewhere so he wouldn’t be a threat to society,” he says. He didn’t elaborate and neither did the FBI.
One former classmate who attended Topeka West High School with Booker and served with him in the school’s Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program told us that Booker had strong opinions about women. “He talked about multiple wives and how women should be subjugated and serve the man,” says the classmate, who asked not to be named.
The classmate, who believed Booker “wasn’t violent,” says she ran into Booker about a month ago at a local supermarket, and he had talked about his failed marriage. “He said he was recently divorced; he had a three-month marriage,” says the classmate.
We reached a woman who identified herself as Booker’s mother who told us that her son was away and that she didn’t know his whereabouts. “I haven’t spoken to him in a while,” she says. “He’s a grown man, and I don’t know what is happening.”
Another classmate, Alfonso Gonzalez, who also served with Booker in JROTC, recalled his fervor to one day become a soldier and also to convert to Islam. “He had always talked about joining the military,” Gonzalez says, speaking with us in a phone interview. He says during their senior year in high school, Booker also talked about changing his name to Muhammad. “He was pretty gung-ho about Islam,” Gonzalez says.
Gonzalez describes Booker as a “straight-laced cadet.” A video of the Topeka West High School 2011-2012 Cadet Ball shows a bespectacled Booker, proudly donning his uniform and gushing with smiles. Gonzalez says he saw Booker as recently as a year ago, and remembers him saying he wanted to “join the Army.” Booker had been scheduled to start Army basic training this month.
Booker also had a philanthropic side, says Gonzalez. “We had what’s called Farm Inc., and we adopted some children as a battalion and we would give presents off their list, and [Booker] was fairly instrumental in raising money to help those kids.”
When Booker would speak proudly about his faith in Islam, Gonzalez says it rubbed other students the wrong way. “Some people did give him a hard time,’ Gonzalez says. “No one called him out, but he could be obnoxious.”

And when it comes to "egalitarianism" you may remember that life is per definition not egalitarian, only death is egalitarian. Many Muslims around the world today consider that Muslim lands have indeed been attacked, because of the American presence in Afghanistan and the very existence of the State of Israel. The most serious and devout among them will see those attacks and making incumbent upon them the responsibility to wage jihad warfare against the Infidels.
A military judge ruled that Hasan could be forcibly shaved, and he most certainly would have been had he not been a Muslim. But he is a Muslim, and so his attorneys were able to charge that that judge was overcome by “Islamophobia” to the detriment of his duty when he ruled that Hasan be shaved, and was summarily removed from the case. The new judge, Colonel Tara Osborn, was more sensitive to the multicultural imperatives involved here, and ruled that Army regulations had to give way to Islamic law, and Hasan could keep his beard.
The fact that Hasan murdered thirteen people for the same reason he grew the beard -- because of his Islamic faith – doesn’t seem to have entered into her calculations.
Not only that. The very core idea in original islam was to codify parasitism for the purpose of defending one's, even back then, evil acts by the help of racism (the infidel). And this original formula is inherent in islam and cannot be removed without completely altering islam itself to something else.
And here is the murderous racist and sexist root problem, Saudi Arabia, the "guardian of islam". This is the homeland of most of the bloodshed in the muslim world and elsewhere.
