Why are islamic honor murders called "cultural honor killings"?!

Khalid bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz (brother to Alwaleed about Ameera Al Taweel): Stop violating our family, islam and Saudi values. It's a deliberate and stubborn act without giving any consideration to the feelings of our family. A man’s honor is very dear and harming this honor is very bad.

Why do we allow* muslims to support Human Rights violating sharia?!
